OUR PURPOSE AND VALUES

At Domino’s, each and every employee from our delivery experts to our CEO is an ambassador for our business and follows the same purpose and set of values.

Our purpose: Our pizza brings people closer

Our values:

  • Be generous and provide joyful experiences

  • Crush convention

  • Do the right thing, because it’s the right thing to do

  • Invest to create devotion

  • Help people grow and prosper

OUR PEOPLE

Domino’s is a fast-paced business that is forever changing – from our tasty products to our world-class operations procedures and innovative technology. But there is one thing that always remains constant – our people are the heart of our business.

Additionally, Domino’s team members are paid amongst the highest wages in the industry, including late nights, weekends, and public holiday rates as per the Fast Food Industry Modern Award! To learn more about workplace benefits and entitlements that we follow under this award in relation to pay rates, allowances and leave for all employees, please click here.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

DELIVERY EXPERTS

At Domino’s, we put our people first, which means every single Delivery Expert you see out on the street is fully employed by Domino’s! They are not independent contractors or sole traders; they are Domino’s team members. They are a part of our Domino’s family.

The ongoing safety of our team members is our number one priority – because nothing is more important than safety. To ensure our Delivery Experts and fellow road users remain safe, we have implemented a number of proactive safety measures, including providing safety equipment such as high visibility vests and helmets; undertaking regular vehicle maintenance and safety checks; conducting mandatory safety training, and utilising technology like GPS Driver Tracker to monitor speed and harshness of driving at all times.

We have also implemented a number of safety procedures designed specifically for our delivery fleet. For example, Delivery Experts must always maintain a valid and current driver’s licence relevant for their delivery vehicle and must have completed Domino’s rigorous online training requirements prior to commencement of their first shift. Additionally, e-bike and scooter riders are required to pass a practical competency assessment prior to undertaking any deliveries.

Because we make thousands of safe deliveries every single week to homes across Australia, we will always be focused on being slow where it matters in making every pizza right, and fast where it counts in hustling them out the door, while keeping safety at the forefront, both in-store and out on the roads. We’re all about that #hustle – but doing it safely.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE AT DOMINO'S

domino’s for good

At Domino’s, we are committed to doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. To using our business as a force for good, and standing for something more than just ‘pizza’.

We want the world to be a better place because we exist. To be a company that people admire, parents want their children to work for, suppliers want to work with, and shareholders want to invest in.

That’s why we are laser focused on helping our people grow and prosper, on delivering fast, high-quality food that is sustainably sourced, and on substantially reducing our carbon footprint. We call this strategy ‘Domino’s for Good’ – where we focus on the areas we can achieve the greatest impact and truly deliver a better slice for everyone.

THE pARTNERS FOUNDATION

At Domino’s, we are focused on being a pillar of support for our team members during times of need. The Partners Foundation is a charitable trust established to assist Domino’s team members in time of personal hardship or misfortune.

Based on the principle of team members helping team members in times of need, every team member at Domino’s, from those working instore to those in our store support office, has the opportunity to donate to the Partners Foundation through their pay each week, with these funds going to support other team members in need.

MINDS & MEALS

At Domino’s, we believe in the power of pizza.

No matter who you are or what you’re going through, pizza has a way of making things better. It’s not just the scientifically proven deliciousness, there’s also comfort and connection baked into every slice.  Best of all it can be there for you and those you care about faster than you can say, “extra cheese please!”.  As the world’s most versatile bonding food, we believe pizza can deliver fresh hope in times of crisis.

At Domino’s Minds & Meals, our mission is twofold: we are dedicated to supporting youth mental health and to providing funding and comfort through the simple pleasure of a shared pizza during times of disaster.

Because Minds Matter

As one of the largest employers of young people, Domino’s recognises the urgent need for youth mental health support in our communities. In 2022, mental health conditions contributed the most burden for young people aged 15–24 in Australia.

Because Meals Matter

When disaster strikes, a warm meal doesn’t just mean a full belly, it can mean the strength to keep going. Domino’s is privileged to operate in so many local communities all over Australia and New Zealand and we have the expertise to deliver large numbers of meals fast. This puts us in a unique position to respond quickly in times of major crisis and get safe, free hot meals, alongside much needed financial support, to those who need it most.

FEED THE KNEAD

Domino’s is committed to supporting the local communities in which our stores operate, which is why our community based ‘Feed the Knead’ program is available right across Australia.

Launched in late 2020, Feed the Knead is run by local Domino’s stores, and provides support in the form of free pizza to those who are doing it tough, ensuring they have one less thing to worry about – a safe, hot meal.

If you’d like to learn more about Feed the Knead, or nominate an individual, business or charity in ‘knead’, visit: https://www.dominos.com.au/feed-the-knead

DOUGHRAISERS

Through Doughraisers, Domino’s stores raise funds for local charities, community groups, sporting clubs, hospitals, individuals and families in need and more.

Through the generosity of Domino’s franchisees, a certain amount from every pizza sold during a Doughraiser is donated to the chosen local cause.
